I’m all about comfort. On the weekends I’m usually in jeans, flats and a cozy top. Lately my cozy tops have been sweatshirts. A lot of fun and embellished sweatshirts (think florals, lace, ruffles) have been popping up in stores. Throw on a structured jacket for a more sophisticated look. This is perfect for transitioning into spring.
The exact sweatshirt from the image above can be found here.
This is how I’d recreate the look:
1 | Gap Embellished Star Pullover
2 | Gap Water-Resistant Short Hooded Trench
3 | 1822 Denim Ankle Skinny Jeans
4 | Rebecca Minkoff Small Love Leather Crossbody Bag
5 | ASOS DEA Star Lace Up Sneakers
More fun sweatshirts:
ASOS Sweatshirt In Polka Dot
Old Navy Relaxed French-Terry Sweatshirt
Fire Ruffle Front Sweatshirt
Gap Eyelet Logo Pullover Sweatshirt
I’ll admit it. I can’t stay away from Forever 21. I know their clothes are cheap and don’t last long, but it’s hard not to look. Forever 21 is killing it right now. I was browsing online and they have so many cute pieces and accessories and shoes (oh, the shoes!). I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Forever 21 is my go-to for trendy pieces to mix in with my basics. And if you know me, you know I have a lot of basics (and neutrals) that need punching up. Here are my favorites.
This Classic Boyfriend Blazer comes in 10 different colors. // $24.80
A classic Striped Knit Top is essential in any wardrobe. // $13.80
I can’t get over these Tasseled Faux Leather Brogues. I would pair them with that striped tee and boyfriend jeans. // $27.90
LOVE the details on this Scalloped Scuba Knit Dress (plus). // $29.90
A lovely Belted Wrap Coat. // $37.90
Faux Leather Foldover Clutch // $19.90
One of my favorite accessories this season is the wide-brim fedora (aka floppy hat). It’s time to trade in your knit beanie this winter because the fedora is your noggin’s new best friend.
